Taking Pictures!!!

Well, here I am again!!!

Last week I decided to go for a walk to my friend’s house via the local park and it just happened that it was a very cold frosty morning and I took my camera with me!!  So here are a few piccies for you to look at, I love them and can’t wait to get out there again.

Aren’t they lovely!!

The only bad thing about the morning was some stupid children walking on the frozen lake, do they not realise what happens???

Idiots.

I have finally been making a bit of progress with some sewing, not a lot but it’s just that I can’t decide what to do at the moment.  All that fabric and no clue what to do with it all.  Thankfully I have joined in with the PP UFO club, so that is keeping me busy for the time being.

The first two are finished now, these are soldier quilts, so just loaded onto the pile waiting for some new owners. 🙂

Work is still good, having lots of laughs with my two mad women, Maggie and Ilknur!!  Love working with them as we get so much done but manage to giggle the whole shift through too!!!  It’s never dull in the canteen when we are on I tell you!!

Maggie on the left and Ilknur in the middle!!  We were celebrating my birthday last year with champagne, and very nice it was too!!!!  Must be time for another girlie evening!!!  🙂

Enjoy the rest of your week everyone!!!  I know I will!!!

Lovely pics, especially the frosted leaves. I bet those ducks had cold feet, and headaches from trying to peck the ice! Lovely quilts. You are going to have to get the others finished soon or you will run out of safety pins!! Glad you are enjoying your work – did I mention I have retired????

Great piccies Annette with your new camera, love those trees and the last one of the sun through the trees, woohoo great stuff.
As for those stupid children, what can you say!!!! You can plainly see the water in the middle of the lake, They would put someone else’s life at risk if they fell in, personally I would leave the little sods there. Trouble is they do it everytime it freezes, al;ways have, prob always will.
